Art Journaling FAQ

I know that art journaling may be a new concept for some of you, and I’m here to help clarify it. If you have any questions that aren’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

What even is Art Journaling?

Art journaling is a fun and creative version of a brain dump. Picture it like a release of your thoughts, feelings, and daily adventures, but with a splash of paint, scribbles, and whatever art supplies you love. It's not about being perfect but about the freedom to express yourself creatively.

What should I bring to your in-person workshops?

An open mind! (And maybe a friend.) For in-person art journaling workshops, I provide all of the materials you need. But if you do have something you love to work with, by all means, bring it with you! We welcome all sorts of creative expression here.

3

Do I need to have special (read, "expensive") materials for your online events?

Absolutely not! My Art Journaling events are all designed to be as accessible as possible. A pen or pencil and paper is plenty! You can grab anything you have on hand, like crayons or markers, but since shopping for art supplies can be fun, check out this article that goes into more detail.

Will I have to share any of my art or feelings?

Not at all! Only if you feel called to. We are passionate about creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves and filling their cups in a way that resonates with them.
