Spring-Inspired Words
This week I'm participating in Beth Kempton's Spring Light writing course, and I will be sharing the Spring-Inspired Words that flow through me by way of Beth's beautiful prompts. I'm excited to step my way through nature's path via the endless inspiration of the outdoors and to share it with you here. I hope you enjoy.
The Snake Plant
The snake plant, with its many hues of green, from the dark and mid-tones that work together to create stripes across its leaves, to the bright, light green that traces its crisp edges, stands tall, greeting the world.
Peach
There is a warmth in peach that pierces my soul. The pinks, creams, oranges, and all the combinations swirling and blending, smooth, or perhaps not. Peach enters my being until it shines out of me as I release the joy it brings me out into the universe.
Morning Sip
In the early morning, just as the sun begins to rise, a shimmer of light highlights the pale apple tree blossoms. The white petals, with their sweet streak of pink, become a luminary as the sun's warm rays soak in and pass through to illuminate the other side. The glow of the petals changes as they are gently rocked by the simultaneously warm and cool spring breeze.
I draw in my sip of rose tea, close my eyes, lift my face to the sky, and breathe in the healing beauty.
